After immigrant workers at Northern California’s fast-growing “Mi Pueblo” supermarket chain began to organize for their rights and better working conditions, a crackdown was launched to check their immigration documents. Local 6 members joined a protest on October 20th in front of the Mi Pueblo store in Oakland to support the workers and their families.
