ILWU members have been invited to participate in the 2011 Summer Institute for Union Women (SIUW)—four days of stimulating and challenging education, skill building, and solidarity in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Participation is open to women from all ILWU units statewide. All costs for the Institute, including registration, travel, hotel, and lost wages must be paid by the unit. If necessary, units should hold a general membership meeting to authorize their expenditure.

Limited scholarships will be made available to offset the cost attending the SUIW. Click here to download the scholarship appication.
