British Columbia – Members from Local 502 made a generous donation to the Surrey Food Bank with a food donation of over 980 pounds and and $1600 . Their next fundraiser, for the Vancouver Children’s Hospital, also kicked off in March. The yearly event raised $31,502 last year and every year they strive to reach a higher goal. The members of Local 502 take are committed to helping their community. They are hope to raise $50,502 and issued a friendly challenge to all other ocals and unions to match or beat their contributions.
