Members from ILWU Locals 6, 10, 34 and 75 have been phone banking, precinct walking, and putting up yard signs in a “get out the vote” effort that will make the ILWU’s voice heard this election. Volunteers are reporting tremendous response in the member-to-member outreach with an overwhelming number pledging to vote for the District Council endorsed candidates and agreeing to put up campaign signs in their yards. An active and engaged membership that helps elect the right people to office is invaluable in our fight for good jobs.
